Psalm 150:

Psalm 150 for organ and clarinet is the second movement of Gideon Gee-Bum Kim's Two Psalms in the Book V. Kim wrote many choral and instrumental works based on the Book of Psalms including two choral pieces,Three songs of Ascents (Psalm 123, 128 & 134) (2002) and Psalm 150 (2001). In 2017, Kim arranged his Psalm 123 and Psalm 150 for trumpet and organ with commission by Italian trumpeter, Prof. Ivano Ascari for his CD project, “Apocalypse and Final Judgement” and published it under the title of Two Psalms in the Book V. In 2018, Kim also completed a clarinet version of the work.

The work draws Kim’s Christian faith to praise God’s “Apocalypse and Final Judgement” as experienced the apocalypse and final judgement when Jesus was crucified on the cross and enjoyed the apocalypse and final judgement when Christ Jesus resurrected as written in Galatians 2:20.
