The Toronto Messiaen Ensemble (TME) is a Canadian chamber ensemble dedicated to the performance of classical and contemporary music. Since it’s founding in 2011 by the composer Gideon Gee-Bum Kim who is the ensemble’s artistic director, the TME has built a reputation through its unique and spiritual musical programming.
In 2015, the TME extended its musical and spiritual voices to the audiences of the United States through their residency through the Colorado College in Colorado Springs and the Korean Cultural Service NY in New York City. In 2016, the TME was an ensemble-in-residence at the the Alliance Francaise and shared its hopeful message with the French and Korean community in Toronto.
