Two Poems and Epilogue:

Two poems and Epilogue for flute and guitar is a piece that shows some characteristics of poetry such as rhyme, rhythm figurative language and mood. The work also may communicate an orally transmitted tale about an ancient mural in poetry.

Two poems for flute and guitar was commissioned by the Kaprizma Ensemble Jerusalem in 2004 and completed in the same year when Kim travelled to Lyon, France. Right after its premiere in Jerusalem by two leading members of the ensemble, guitarist, Hanan Feinstein and flutist, Ruth Ron, the piece was published with the French title, Deux poemes since Kim completed it in France. Later the work was professionally recorded and showcased on the ensemble’s web-library. In 2006 Kim also added a postscript with a short epilogue type of a piece.
