Profile

A several prizes and awards winning Korean-born cellist Hee Yeon Kim completed her Honours Bachelor of Music Performance at Wilfrid Laurier University and her Artist Diploma at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Her mentors included Paul Pulford and David Heatherington.

Ms. Kim has participated in many music festivals in Canada. Over the years, Ms. Kim has had master classes working with many distinguished artists including Colin Carr, Richard Aaron, and Philippe Muller. As a chamber musician, Kim has performed Piano Trio concert at KWCMS with Karfour Trio and joined the Toronto Messiaen Ensemble in 2014.
